The Oregonian Visits The Barcelona at Beaverton
Construction workers slogged through the wet winter on the Barcelona At Beaverton apartments, and a sunny March day found they'd made a lot of progress.
When it's complete, this fall, the four-story affordable housing complex on Southwest Lombard Avenue and Southwest First Street will hold 47 units, according toCommunity Partners for Affordable Housing.
Adjacent to the apartments will be a five-story retail-commercial project that will include typical market-rate housing, according to Community Partners.
The land for both projects is owned by the City of Beaverton which will, essentially, lease it long term to the developers.
